You’re Invited!
We truly hope that your first visit to Northside Church is positive, encouraging, and life-impacting. To that end, we’d like to give you a quick summary of what you may expect when you stop by. If you have more questions or would simply like to let us know you’re coming, shoot us an email or give us a call at 586-949-7251.
We don’t have a dress code. Some enjoy the opportunity to dress up formally while others prefer the comfort of the casual clothes they wear every day. You are welcome to come as you are, with no expectation for anything else!
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30 am every week, but you are invited to join us between 9:30 and 10:30 am for coffee, donuts and fellowship as well.
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up. Do expect to be greeted by people in our congregation, who are happy that you are with us! We know that many people want to check out the church and that’s fine with us!
When you arrive, our friendly ushers will greet you at the door. We would be very grateful if you would fill out the card from our welcome pack giving us your contact information. Any one of our ushers and greeters will gladly answer any questions you have concerning where to go, where the bathrooms are, where the nursery is, etc.
We have children’s programming for babies through 6th grade each Sunday. Feel free to drop off your kids at their age-appropriate locations and pick them up after the service. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask one of our ushers or greeters. Of course, your children are welcome to remain in the adult service with you as well.
At the beginning of our service we spend time worshiping the Lord by singing contemporary praise songs that glorify the Lord. After a short time of prayer, announcements and the offering, our pastor or guest speaker delivers a message. We try to wrap up around 11:45 pm.
Every week our Pastor or guest speaker shares a message with the congregation. Each message is thoughtfully and prayerfully prepared and we hope it will challenge you to discover God and His love!
